I am a BBSRC iCASE PhD student at Dr Sharpe lab. I did my BSc in Genetics at University of Manchester, and MSc in Biotechnology at University of Salford. After my studies I have briefly worked for a biotech company, however I soon missed working in academia, and so I got a research assistant position at University of Cambridge. In my PhD at 99热久草热最新地址 I will be working on SHP2, a phosphatase found to be implicated in cancer, I鈥檒l be investigating its structural and functional properties in health and disease. Outside my scientific interests I enjoy hiking and climbing, as well as hugging people on judo mats, and tackling people to the ground on rugby pitch.
