Peter Rugg-Gunn comments on ‘blastoid’ research in the Mail Online

The Mail Online report on a new model which resemble early human embryos, called blastoids. Peter Rugg-Gunn provided his expert comment on the work. Peter’s work shines light on the early epigenetic changes that happen during development by looking at stem cells, mouse embryos, and human embryos at early stages. Speaking about the new model Peter said: “To capitalise on the discovery, the process will need to be more controlled and less variable.”
